Fall Festival

A few weeks ago I volunteered A. and me to work a game booth at our church's fall festival. I had gone to the costume store to get us some matching couple costumes, only to find out they were super expensive and there was no way I could justify spending that kind of money. But the other day I went to the grocery store and saw these cute matching Halloween t-shirts, and thought they would be festive and fun for us to wear.  I was really surprised A. was opened to wearing matching shirts, but he didn't even complain once. I guess he knew it was pointless to argue with me, because in the end I was going to win. I always win. ;)

We got to the church at five, only to find out there was a mix up and they didn't need us there till 6:30. So to kill time, we decided to hang out at the house of some friends of ours. They go all out every year for Halloween. They even have an inflatable haunted house and inflatable Jack from the Nightmare Before Christmas in their front yard. They happened to have a whoopie cushion costume that I made A. try on. LOL. I guess I am pretty immature, but I got a few laughs out of it. But I really thought he looked more like a bottle of pepto bismal. A. chose not to wear the whoopee cushion to the festival, which was a bummer because the kids would have loved it.

We finally got to the church and we worked the mini-golf game. We really had a blast playing miniature golf with the little kids.  We had the best game booth because we gave out the most candy! We may have also pilfered some candy for ourselves....shush.

P.S.-I meant to take pics but we were so busy the whole time.

That sounds like so much fun. I would love to do something like that with Match. A totally looks like Pepto Bismol. Remember those horrible commercials? Hehe, I can just see him saying, "Diarrhea..." hahaha. Sorry A!!

PS did you cut your hair? I like it!
